About the Topic

ASP-Boston hosts a monthly morning session on the first Tuesday of the month.

Traditional time management tactics – such as goal-setting, prioritizing, and delegating– are no longer sufficient to meet the challenges of doing more with less in a 24/7 world. What is required is an approach that combines traditional methods with:
  • Ways to address the root causes of time mis-management
  • An effective leadership strategy
  • The ability to manage not only time but also other resources productively
  • A proven behavior change approach that supports people to adopt new practices
The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the essence of this approach. You will learn:
  • How people unintentionally increase time pressure in their efforts to reduce it
  • Guidelines for allocating your time to:
    • Guiding yourself and others
    • Strategizing to manage inevitable tradeoffs
    • Building strong connections with yourself and others
    • Executing
  • How to cultivate additional resources such as focus and energy
  • A 7-step process for changing time management habits
