Content Marketing Playbook: Options and Ideas for Connecting with Customers

What is "content marketing" and why does it matter? What options are available that product marketers should consider? How do marketers turn internal expertise into desirable external communications? How does content marketing fit in the evolving world of social media?

Push -- or interruptive -- communications doesn't work like it used to. As customers gain more power (via the Web), they actively chose to accept or ignore messaging based on its relevancy to their particular needs. Content marketing reaches new customers by offering the expertise they seek, allowing you to build the credibility and authority you need BEFORE you can begin a productive sales conversation.
