Rethinking the Lifecycle Curve to Fight Commoditization

Products go through several stages of life, from development through maturity and decline. When a product becomes mature, commoditization of a once unique solution reduces its value. Rethinking the lifecycle curve will be the topic of this presentation. It cannot be managed in isolation, but it need not be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Thinking outside-in, managing a family of products, and other ways to fight commoditization will be discussed.

Paradigms and techniques that can be used to maximize the financial value contribution of product lifecycle curves in highly competitive environments.
