About the keynote:
New products are the life blood of most technology companies. In today's ultra-competitive environment, organizations are pressured to get new technologies into the market immediately. As a consequence, they race to introduce new products and solutions and show results. They don't take the time to develop a structured go-to-market approach. What results is a random set of uncoordinated actions. Unfortunately, skimping on strategic thinking can result in a failed product as well as wasted dollars, inappropriate investments and lost opportunities.

Join us on Nov 4 where you'll learn:
  • How to overcome the 3 major hurdles to new product success
  • A four step process for launching new products
  • The importance of choosing the right early users
  • How to use your beta process to build a foundation for a successful product introduction
  • How to develop sales tools that actually accelerate the buying process
  • How to effectively utilize customer references

About the presenter:

This keynote will be presented by Neil Baron from Baron Strategic Partners -- a consulting firm focused on helping organizations launch new products and services and reenergize older ones. Neil Baron is an internationally recognized authority on selling and marketing innovative products, services and solutions. He has served in a variety of senior marketing and management roles at companies such as IBM, Digital Equipment Corporation, Sybase, Art Technology Group, Brooks Automation and ATMI. A graduate of Tufts with an MBA from Harvard Business School, he is back at HBS where he serves as an expert adviser to the new class, Commercializing Science.

We look forward to seeing you at Vox Populi on the evening of November 4th!!
