About the keynote:  
New products are the life blood of most technology companies. In today's ultra-competitive environment, organizations are pressured to get new technologies into the market immediately. Unfortunately, skimping on strategic thinking can result in a failed product as well as wasted dollars, inappropriate investments and lost opportunities.

Neil Baron is an internationally recognized authority on selling and marketing innovative products, services and solutions. He has served in a variety of senior marketing and management roles at companies such as IBM, Digital Equipment Corporation, Sybase, Art Technology Group, Brooks Automation and ATMI. A graduate of Tufts with an MBA from Harvard Business School, he is back at HBS where he serves as an expert adviser to the new class, Commercializing Science.
