Envisioning your Competitor's Strategy Map

As companies develop internal metrics and goals to execute strategy, ideally these should be matched against similar metrics for direct competitors and best-in-class peers. CI methods can be used to obtain qualitative and quantitative competitor data for specific functions such as IT, HR, supply chain, customer service, operations, and R&D.

Competitor strategy mapping provides a framework for examining the interdependencies of these individual business processes, and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of competitive organizations and strategies holistically.

Attendees will learn how creating a mirror image of a competitor based on their own company’s strategy map can help gain insight on how and where the rival will behave differently in the marketplace.
