About the Topic

ASP-Boston hosts a monthly morning session on the first Tuesday of the month.
How important are privately-owned businesses: to the economy; to society; to your business?
The skyscrapers of the business landscape ― global, publicly-traded firms ― have become household names. Yet, their privately-held counterparts, the pushcarts of the economy, outnumber these skyscrapers 1,000 to 1. Paradoxically, they issue 3 out of every 5 paychecks and generate virtually all the net-new jobs. Due to their unique combination of challenges and opportunities, they are often gratifying and grateful clients for whom a strategic perspective can make a substantial difference.

This program examines interventions with six of them through the filter of a few simple concepts, tools and processes that promote both meaningful change and meaningful work.
