About the Topic

ASP-Boston hosts a monthly morning session on the first Tuesday of the month.

Developing Organizational Capability, Talent Management and Succession Planning

Businesses are now placing an increased focus on growth strategies for the future, which equates to having strategies in place to develop talent. In growth organizations there is urgent need to focus on succession planning – to quickly develop individuals for leadership roles and build organizational capability. Growing leaders internally decreases the cost of externally acquiring top talent, while also increasing retention of top talent. Organizations that utilize leadership development strategies, and build high performing leaders, will create and sustain competitive advantage well in the future.

In today’s business environment high performing companies must have a shared set of values around talent development, while engaging multi-cultural and multi-generational workforces who have different values and norms.
