About the Topic

ASP-Boston hosts a monthly morning session on the first Tuesday of the month.
The act of strategic planning can be an opportunity for the whole organization to learn from itself (and others) about its choices. That said, it is too bad that strategic planning is often left in the hands of a small group of senior managers. What if you wanted to involve more of the organization in an effort to create or revise your plans?

In Dr. Lent's work with profit and non-profit organizations of various sizes, he has found that there are various critical choices to make in preparing for a strategic planning session. These choices can be implemented using various structural tools so that a meeting with a large group can be a productive, efficient discussion leading to a strategic plan that all understand and are ready to use.

In this session, he will share these choices and the tools that enable them to be easily implemented, and share stories of strategic planning with groups from 12 to 200 in size. More information is available in his e-book, Meeting for Results Tool Kit.
