About the Topic

We are excited that fellow SCIP Massachusetts Chapter member Nan Bulger has been named as the new Executive Director of SCIP. We are privileged to have her join us for an informal gathering at Hotel Indigo in Newton. Nan is the first Executive Director with a CI practitioner background which will be great for the organization and the profession.

Nanette (Nan) Bulger
Executive Director of SCIP

Nan was recently appointed Executive Director of SCIP, the Strategic & Competitive Intelligence Professionals society. A long-time dedicated executive strategist and competitive intelligence advocate and professional, Nan brings creative energy, passion and experience as both a practitioner and an international consultant in these disciplines serving profit, non-profit and academic entities.

Nan was most recently, Global Lead and Sector Senior Director of Strategic Planning, Market and Business Intelligence for Philips Healthcare. Nan has progressively built career experience as a revenue generator with P&L responsibility in a variety of operational functions across the business continuum where she consistently drove the application of competitive intelligence as a foundational and critical competency and discipline within organizations.

A consummate international team builder, Nan has led global professionals through times of change and crisis in the creation and successful implementation of full scale strategic plans, market strategies, and competitive and business intelligence analytics programs.Known for taking a lead role in business and intelligence arenas, Nan was selected for and participated in the IC-Analyst program for the Department of Homeland Security private to public sector critical infrastructure workflow initiative in a research role and served as an active board member for SCIP.
