Product Roadmaps: Collaborating to Discover and Deliver Value
with Ellen Gottesdiener, Principal Consultant and Founder at EBG Consulting, Inc.
Thursday, April 18, 2013
The product roadmap outlines how the product will evolve over time to realize the product vision. When done well, the roadmap, and your process for delivering it, gives you a framework for ongoing decision making. Ellen describes a collaborative process for creating your roadmap and shows you how to engage your stakeholders. She shares how you can holistically explore product options to allocate product features to your roadmap.
You will hear how incorporating value considerations into your roadmapping session can help you learn about the multiple perspectives of diverse stakeholders. You will learn how stakeholders can act as product partners to not only build, but also implement, your product roadmap. You will see how your roadmap can be a framework for continual learning and for adapting plans to maximize each release. Ellen draws on her experience in facilitating product roadmapping workshops, synthesizing the disciplines of product and project management, requirements development and management, and collaborative techniques.
Join us to learn how product roadmaps can help you deliver the right product, align organizational ends with means, adapt to changing markets, and make tough choices that will deliver strategic value.
