Presenting Companies:
HYDRORECOVERY is a Boston based start-up company with the latest innovation in hydro technology. Our product produces electricity by utilizing the existing water pressure differential in most residential and commercial buildings that utilize a public water supply service. The pressure differential is the disparity between the pressure entering the building from the water supplier and the pressure required by the building. The technology/product is scalable and can be installed virtually in any building. The HYDRORECOVERY technology produces electricity entirely from the existing surplus water pressure without affecting the quality or characteristics of the water for the consumer. The result is the production of clean, useful electricity without any combustible fuel source, with zero greenhouse emissions and at zero operating cost. The HYDRORECOVERY product results in a cost savings for the owner through reduced electricity consumption from the utility and is completely safe and environmentally sustainable.
Presenter: L Manuel Rivera NBD Nanotechnologies, Inc., a water startup based out of Boston that utilizes surface chemistry mimicking the Namib Desert Beetle to enhance condensation. We have three surface coatings that can be applied to various substrates via spray or dip that have the following applications: enhanced fog collection / de-misting, enhanced condensation, and omniphobicity (repel water, oil, acids, bases).
