Many elements of the Lean Startup Methodology have been warmly embraced by startups. However, only a few product innovations have successfully transitioned into high growth businesses. Why are new product failures still so prevalent? Why do so few attain the scale needed to become successful businesses?In this session, Nitzan Shaer, Managing Partner of the High Start Group, will discuss the barriers that are currently holding back many product innovations. He will demonstrate how Growth Hacking can help overcome some of these barriers, and how to align the product, marketing and engineering teams to focus on product growth. The seminar will draw on success stories from startups as well as Fortune 1000 firms.

About the Speaker:
 
hirez_nitzan_1399 2.jpgNitzan Shaer is Managing Partner and Co-founder of High Start Group, a firm focused on helping startups and Fortune 500 companies create and launch breakthrough products.
Before High Start Group, Nitzan founded the Mobile Product Group at Skype, where he led the development and marketing efforts to bring Skype to mobile phones. Previously, Nitzan successfully managed the development of three global products in the Mobile and Embedded Division at Microsoft. Nitzan also led venture investments as Entrepreneur in Residence at Flybridge Capital Partners. Nitzan is an active angel investor, and served as board member at Ekotrope, Consumer United, and Assured Labor. He is also a frequent speaker on mobile commerce and product innovation.
His support to entrepreneurs and the community include service as a mentor and judge at the MIT $100K, Board Member at Boston Cares, and Commission Board Member at Combined Jewish Philanthropies. A former Captain in the Israel Air Force, Nitzan was first in his class at the Air Force Academy, is an honors graduate of Technion, and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
