BPMA Monthly Meeting

What A Dead Squirrel Taught Me About Selling Customer Value

The first BPMA meeting of 2015 will represent a dramatic departure from the standard format. This will be a highly interactive session where most of the learning will come from other participants. We will apply techniques used in the classrooms at the Harvard Business School  to facilitate a rich discussion. The speaker will kick-off the conversation by sharing a short story of how a personal "crisis” turned into a powerful lesson on customer value. And then, the bulk of the session will be spent in small group breakouts and larger group conversations.

Some of the key takeaways:

·      Benefits of focusing on customer value

·      Why we prefer to talk about features and not customer value

·      Why providing superior customer value is so hard

·      Steps to overcome the roadblocks to providing superior customer value
