Bruce McCarthy (UpUp Labs) - Moderator


Bruce is Founder and Chief Product Person at UpUp Labs, where he and his team are at work on Reqqs - the smart roadmap tool for product people.

Bruce describes himself as a dedicated evangelist for better products and product management. Bruce has founded three companies and has led teams in organizations ranging from startups to market leaders such as Art Technology Group, Oracle and D&B. Jeanette Yuen and Claire Bourdeau (Rue La La)

Jeanette is a Senior Product Manager at Rue La La focused on the consumer shopping experience for our 15 million+ members. She has a passion for applying seamless UX to product and thinking of how to simplify complex problems. Prior to Rue La La, she was at TripAdvisor, Citi, and Time Inc. She holds a BA in Computer Science and Cinema Studies from New York University.

Claire has 15+ years experience creating elegant user experiences that are designed to delight and make the complicated simple. She has a unique skill set of design strategy, user interface design, information architecture and content strategy, user research, and usability testing. Prior to joining Rue La La, she was doing UX Design at Carbonite and TripAdvisor and has an MS from Bentley University in Human Factors in Information Design.


Matt Bilotti (Drift)


Over the past year, Matt has helped run product at Drift and developed the Burndown Framework (an alternative to agile) that helps teams ship more product, faster.

Previously, he spent some time with HubSpot and other Boston startups.



Andy Pitre (HubSpot)


Andy helps build HubSpot's free CRM product.





Jon Gilman (RunKeeper)


Jon is currently VP of Product at Runkeeper, where he leads the product management and user experience team. Jon initially joined Runkeeper as their first product manager back in 2012 after working at TripAdvisor.

Additionally, Jon co-founded a product/UX consultancy, getGlorious, and a mobile communications startup, BelloJw.



Shobhit Chugh (Tamr)

Shobhit is a product manager at Tamr, helping companies make the most of their data.

In his career he has built a bootcamp to the USA for new Immigrants (ImmigrantHQ), launched a new category of products at Lattice Engines, started an Adtech company called Adaptly, consulted with Technology and Financial services clients at McKinsey, and written some questionable code at Manhattan Associates.



Rachel Schiff (Virgin Pulse)


Rachel is a director of product management at Virgin Pulse, an employee wellbeing platform.

She has previously been a product manager at Microsoft and MathWorks.




Piyum Samaraweera (Constant Contact)

Piyum joined Constant Contact in 2015 and leads Constant Contact’s product management team. Beyond extensive experience in building software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions at scale for small and medium-sized businesses, Piyum brings hands-on experience in implementing agile and product frameworks to help product organizations drive execution.

Prior to joining Constant Contact, he was senior director of product management at Sophos and prior to that, Piyum was senior director of product management at Carbonite where he led both product management and user experience.



Nichole Mace (Zipcar)


Customer champion, qualitative research enthusiast, product/market matcher, product strategist.

Favorite work experience: Constant Contact before people knew the term "email marketing", online insurance start-up bought by Intuit, Stylesho taking QVC and bringing it YouTubers and of course Zipcar!




Samuel Clemens (InsightSquared)


Before InsightSquared, Sam was VP Product at HubSpot, VP Product at BzzAgent, and on the initial team at Elance.com. His background also includes venture capital with Greylock Partners, the Algorithms group at Amazon.com, and management consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton. Sam has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Applied Math from Yale.

He serves as an advisory Entrepreneur-In-Residence at HBS and is a guest lecturer on product management at both HBS and MIT Sloan.
