BPMA Monthly Meeting

The Six Key Factors of High-Performance Product Teams
Special thanks to our generous event sponsor:

Interested in learning how the very best product teams work? Looking for ideas of how to improve your team performance in 2017?

Come see the latest results of the 2016 global study of product teams. For the past 5 years, Actuation Consulting has studied product team performance to better understand the differences between successful and struggling teams. In their latest study, they have taken a deep-dive to uncover six new key team factors that statistically correlate with top performance. Actuation Consulting's president Greg Geracie will describe:

  • The importance of creating a "Definition of Done"
  • Which product development methodology best meets or exceeds financial goals
  • Best practices for managing backlog
  • The impact of tools and automation on performance
Bring your own questions and/or challenges to share with the speaker and fellow participants. This will be an interactive presentation.

Optional "Early-Bird" Structured Networking Session:

At professional events, do you move beyond small talk to make the valuable connections that will advance your career?

Come by 6:15 pm and join us for BPMA Structured Networking, which makes networking easy, fun, and highly focused. You’ll join a small breakout group of 10 professionals and a moderator. When it’s your turn, you’ll pass out your business cards, introduce yourself, talk about what you do, describe your “PM sweet spot,” and tell us how we can help you.

Career advice? Prospects for a new job? Vendor referrals? All job- and career-related topics are on the table. Our experienced moderator and your peers will discuss your goals and recommend options to help you achieve them.

Reminder: Please arrive by 6:15 pm to participate. Structured networking is limited to 10 and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. And don’t forget to bring 10+ business cards to get the most out of the session.
