Come join the BPMA membership for its annual Gala for 2014 where you will have great networking opportunities, and a really good meal by Wolfgang Puck catering (I attended last year, and it is true!). You will also benefit from a keynote presentation by venture capitalist and Harvard Business School lecturer, Jeff Bussgang, who will discuss how the science of product management has evolved radically in the last few years.
Customer Discovery and Lean Start-Up are specific examples of how Silicon Valley principles are influencing organizations, and transforming how products are conceived and built. For an informative and entertaining discussion of customer discovery by Steve Blank, please see the Customer Discovery Video posted in the Course Hero Site. This video is part of an entrepreneuring course from Stanford University, and contains a lot of discussion on how start-ups should develop products. Also, for a detailed description of the Lean Startup concept, please see Steve Blank’s Harvard Business Review article Why the Lean Start-Up Changes Everything.
Please join the BPMA for the 2014 gala. Last year, it came close to selling out, and everyone had a great time!
