This is a timely topic, and it is receiving a lot of attention in the marketing and consulting community. Accenture, in its new white paper, Turbulence for the CMO: Charting a path for the Seamless Customer Experience, provides an in-depth analysis of what marketing management needs to change in order to make the customer's experience a strategic imperative. Henry Tsai of Astid, in his article, Five products that get the user experience right, gives great examples of how to accomplish this.
